Rickey Allen Baxley, 63, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018, at his home.

Born October 26, 1954, in Hemingway, he was a son of Thelma Floyd Baxley and the late Leonard Baxley, Sr. He retired from the mobile home business.

Survivors include his mother of Sumter; two daughters, Santana “Nichole” Head of Sumter and Shannon Bodine (Andrew) of Biloxi, MS; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Baxley (Johnnie Mae), Linwood Baxley, and Leonard Baxley, Jr. all of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bobby Driggers officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
