Obituary for Richard Worth Lambert
Richard Worth Lambert, 54, died Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at his home.
Born May 26, 1964, in Sumter, he was a son of the late James Edward Lambert and the late Dorothy Singleton Lambert Young. He was employed by Sumter Packaging.
Survivors include two sisters, Karen Lambert Cooper (Ronnie) and Melissa Lambert both of Sumter; two brothers, James Edward “Eddie” Lambert, II of Sumter and Robert “Bobby” Lambert of Manning; a number of nieces and nephews; and his fur babies, Boy George and Little Man.
A graveside service will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. James McElveen officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of his sister, 407 Rogers Ave.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sumter S.P.C.A., 1140 S. Guignard Dr., Sumter, SC 29150.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
