Shirley Chance Henshaw, wife of Donald T. Henshaw, passed away peacefully at her home in Rockledge, Florida on March 18, 2018.
Shirley was a very sweet and caring Christian person who loved God, her church, family, and friends. She will be very much missed by all who knew her.
Born December, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Ida Lou Oglesby and the late I. Davis Chance.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Ernest Keel; a sister, Eva Nell Moore; and a nephew, Herman “Bobo” Player.
Surviving are her husband; sisters, Betty Player Foster of Sumter and Lou Dean Derocher (Jack) of Smyrna, Georgia; a brother-in-law, Jim Moore of Summerville; a daughter, Tammy Church (Adam) of Iowa; sons, Calvin Henshaw and Howard Henshaw both of Florida; and a number of grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces, Sandy Daly (Bill), Ava JiNell Nazarian (Aaron), and Angela Moore; nephew, I. David Player; and a special cousin, Linda Newiger.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, April 29, 2018, in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Tony Gould officiating.
