Obituary for Philip Michael Berry Sr.
Philip Michael Berry, Sr., 54, died Saturday, March 17, 2018, at his home.
Born December 6, 1963, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Allen L. Berry, Sr. and the late Florence Porter Berry. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Berry, Jr. of Dalzell, and Danna Berry and Jeremy Berry both of Rock Hill; six grandchildren; and a brother, Ronald A. Berry (Phyllis) of Lugoff.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Allen L. “Foots” Berry, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 2 P.M. Monday in the Sumter Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Ahtonen officiating.
Memorials may be made to New Salem Baptist Church Youth Program, 2500 West Oakland Ave., Sumter, SC 29154.
Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
