Cathy L. Sawyer, 59, wife of James “Tom” Sawyer, died Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Palmetto Health Tuomey.

Born February 16, 1959, in Port Huron, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Joe Murray and the late Barbara McKenzie Murray. She was formerly employed as the Office Manager at Industrial Waste Service.

Survivors include her husband of Bishopville; a son, Michael Day (Megan) of Wedgefield; three grandchildren, Emily Day, Hunter Day, and Crace Smith; two brothers, Mark Lonczkowski of Port Huron, Michigan and Alan Lonczkowski of Lebanon, Missouri; and a sister, Sherry Moseley of Temple, Texas.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be private.

Pallbearers will be Gary Dixon, Jamie Josey, Brad Graham, Mike Watts, Rusty Ard, and James Burress.
