Aline Rucker Rhame, 87, widow of Warren David Rhame, died Monday, November 13, 2017, at Palmetto Health Richland.
Born April 4, 1930, in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Rucker and the late Flaxie Rast Rucker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sumter. Mrs. Rhame was formerly employed by Pioneer Dress Ltd. and worked for Weight Watchers for more than 40 years.
Survivors include two sons, Michael David Rhame (Terry) of Sumter and Warren Lloyd Rhame (Carol) of Dalzell; two grandchildren, Ashley Rhame and Zachary Rhame (Tanya); two great-grandchildren, Haley Rhame and Caroline Rhame; two brothers, Charlie Rucker and Douglas Rucker; and five sisters, Viola Kirven, Peggy Garvin, Ollie Mae Snyder, Roberta Doyle, and Lucille Harmon.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dan Barber officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Rhame, Jimmy Davis, Butch Carraway, Hank Harmon, Earl Snyder, and Tommy Rhame.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Wednesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Rhame, 3181 Daufaskie Rd., Sumter.
