Jacqueline “Jackie” Farmer Welch, 51, wife of Mark Anthony Welch, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday, August 04, 2017.

Born August 19, 1965, in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Ross Daniel Farmer and the late Katherine Keels Farmer. Jackie was a member of Northside Memorial Baptist Church. She was an LPN for more than 20 years.

Survivors include her husband of Sumter; a son, Nathan Farmer and his wife, Melody; and two sisters-in-law, Dena Farmer and Patty Farmer.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Danny Farmer, Keels Farmer, and Kevin Farmer.

Jackie will be remembered for her great love for Mark and Nathan. She is also known for her affection for animals, especially cats.

A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday in the Sumter Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Holley and her nephew, Mr. Kee Farmer officiating.

Pallbearers will be Kee Farmer, Miles Farmer, Ross Farmer, Tim Farmer, Tommy Jack Farmer, and Stephen Welch.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Welch and Steve Welch.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
