Obituary for Frank W Yarbrough

Frank W. Yarbrough, 73, husband of Patsy Edgemon Yarbrough, died Saturday, August 09, 2014, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

Born in Pamplico, he was a son of the late Willie Yarbrough and the late Mary Howard Yarbrough. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He retired from Prothro Chevrolet. He was an avid deer hunter and member of the Russell Wallace Hunt Club formerly know as the Nelson Wilson Hunt Club.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Lynn W. Yarbrough of Sumter; a daughter, Patricia Charlene Yarbrough Brady (Ken) of Sumter; two granddaughters, April Johnson (Mike) and Jessica Amerson (Joey); three great-grandchildren, Dustin Johnson, Nathan Amerson, and Kyleigh Bramlett; a brother, Herman Van Yarbrough of Columbia; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Yarbrough and Willard Yarbrough; and four sisters, Anne Louise McDonald, Dorothy Griffin, Lena Mae Lucas, and Dixie Lee Turner.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Tuesday at Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Graham Bochman and Pastor Wayne McElveen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home, 2350 Stanford Dr.
