Jenny Mercer Infinger, 73, widow of Norman Edward Infinger, Sr., died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at her home.
Born in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late J.C. Mercer, Sr., and the late Maggie Dorothy Harrell Mercer.
Survivors include six children, Sherry I. Collicott (Billy) of Georgetown, Norman E. Infinger, Jr. (Cindy) of Ashboro, NC, Jeffrey Allen Infinger (Maria) of Georgetown, Susan I. Noonan of Gaston, Paul Richard Infinger of Ashboro, and Ellen I. Strickland (Billy) of Gaston; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two brothers, C.L. Mercer (Elaine), and J.C. “BoBo” Mercer, Jr. (Gloria) both of Georgetown; and one sister, Gail Wilson of Penn.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with Chaplain Billy Griffin officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
